Our Story
Having served educational institutions since 2002, Collateral Benefits Group created Collateral Educator Services as a subsidiary solely dedicated to the education market. Collateral Educator Services' mission is to create and deliver best-in-class benefits designed specifically for educators, thus continuing our legacy of service.
Our design and selection process seeks products through a robust, multi-vendor proposal process. By combining multiple educational institutions into larger risk pools, we are able to negotiate better rates and benefits than most local benefit brokers. We use a consolidated billing process to deliver our product portfolio on a single bill, with a single customer service number. Because each product is bid, you gain the advantage of using multiple carriers without the burden of multiple enrollments and multiple administrative contacts. Our consolidated billing process was created in July 2006 and currently serves more than 150 employers with more than 32,000 lines of coverage.
Our communication plans are designed to make benefit selection simple and easy for each employee. We work with local representatives and enrollment teams to make sure employees receive the protection that is most appropriate for their unique, personal situation. Collateral Educator Services ensures that each representative is trained consistent with our corporate beliefs of integrity, community, and service.
